Email setups on either Outlook or smart devices shud be set up using the following guidelines:

1. IMAP should always be considered, so that multiple devices can receive the emails.

2. The email server addresses should, where possible, always be mail.yourdomainname.*

3. The usurename is always the full email address.

4. Outgoing email should always be authenticated .

5. The ports should be Non-SSL : 110 and 587

Keeping this in mind should ensure any email setup you create work the first time.
